Mesoamerican Development Institute (MDI) is a nongovernmental organization with offices in Honduras and Lowell, Massachusetts. MDI specializes in technology transfer and market development; introducing renewable energy innovations for agro-productive industry to increase value and restore environments in rural Mesoamerica. MDI co-manages Pico Pijol National Park and Montaña de Yoro National Park and is the proponent of the Yoro Biological Corridor Initiative. MDI’s programs:
